Artist attends own workshop-in-an-envelope part ONE

I sent an envelope to me! I made cards from the randomized materials harvested from the El Cerrito Recycling Center. (This art has been or will be sent in the US mail). When I worked, I worked quickly, without self-critique to make what I thought was a whole. This process allows for seeds to be sown. There is the potential for the congealed contents to spark the creation of new work, should one be so inspired. One can look at the "complete" picture and riff from there- to create an entire world. By entire world, I mean: create a puppet show with original story, set, characters and sound! The possibilities for idea generation are endless- it's the carry-through that takes the doing!

Please enjoy some of the outcomes below! From found poems to simple collages.
