Long ago, Risa Dye gleefully discovered that puppetry is the perfect art form. In 2014 she committed to exploring the possibilities of puppet show making and performing.  Risa’s style of puppetry combines the many artforms that she has practiced through the years- storytelling, dancing, drawing and painting, printmaking, costume design, soft form sculpture, and diorama. She solidified her passions whilst attending the Laboratory of Movement studies (LEM) at Jacques LeCoq School of Physical Theatre in Paris, France, and further with fellow puppet lovers at Humber College’s puppetry intensive.  She enjoys evolving with her artistic standards and delights bringing elements of contemporary puppetry to family audiences.
